BACKGROUND

A likeminded entrepreneur had an idea for a product but needed help to make it a reality. A two-sided wash cloth, half jute, half fairtrade, organic cotton. The different materials offered different scrub/polish options and putting them back to back meant the cotton half could dry more quickly.

I worked with him on the brand, the product design, packaging, and more until it was ready for market as a 3-pack.

COCONUT TOOTHBRUSH

Dental hygiene is inaccessible in parts of the developing world. The plastic toothbrushes are relatively expensive and would not have made sense with Janum's organic brand. My concept was to design a toothbrush made entirely of coconut. The shaft would be made from pressed husk and the bristles would be made from coir.
